These weekend workshops are supporting parts of our Meditative Therapy Programme – the holistic alternative to deal with stress, anxiety, sleeping disorder, fears and other problems. Scientific studies continue to reveal an ever-expanding list of disorders which are able to be tackled effectively using meditation. These workshops contain the following topics:
Mindfulness based on MBCT and MBSR (Jon Kabat-Zinn) helps us to see more clearly the patterns of the mind and teaches us to stay in the present moment, rather than reliving the past or pre-living the future.
Gibberish means allowing any sounds which come from inside, in any language except a language you know. The mind thinks in terms of words. Gibberish helps to break up this pattern of continuous verbalization. Without suppressing your thoughts, you can throw them out in this gibberish.
Laughter without any reason. Maybe in the beginning you feel foolish and you will start laughing at your foolishness. Then you laugh at the whole absurdity... When you really laugh, thinking stops. It is impossible to laugh and think together.
