AwarenessCoaching is part of London Meditation’s Coaching Programme.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, a manager or in a leadership position – vision, authenticity and compassion are infinitely more important than the words you say. These three traits are as essential to your survival as air, food and water.
But first of all you must raise your awareness of what is important.
From awareness grows vision, without this (self-) awareness there is no authenticity, which,
when developed, opens you as a person and enables you to have a healthy compassion.
What is AwarenessCoaching?
Psychological competencies for coaching are fundamentally grounded in awareness – both self awareness and awareness of others.
AwarenessCoaching sessions are structured to provide a development of awareness, growth and change to yourself which enables this to happen by itself. That way change occurs with less effort and is sustainable because it is accepted by your ego, whereas any change caused from outside (second-hand knowledge or advice) is rejected by your ego after a relatively short time.
Research shows that only changes which are formed by themselves can become an integral part of consciousness so are integrated and accepted into yourself.
Open awareness means attention without tension, back to your senses, a relaxed kind of watchfulness, just seeing, not making an effort, not striving or even judging; an effortless awareness.
Our coaching approach helps you understand what works and doesn’t work for you in achieving your desired goals. This greater awareness means you can concentrate on what’s really important to you – and cope better with the things that seem to get in your way. Your desired outcomes become more achievable through this greater clarity and awareness.
The unique composition from
- education about psychological background issues, plus exercises from cognitive behaviour modification (CBM) that show the links between thinking and feeling,
- coaching tools and techniques for the mind-oriented aspects such as GROWTH, PESTLE, SWOT and SMART – to ask yourself the right questions in order to discover the hidden solution – an approach we call introspection
- as well elements from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to let you programme your mind to function in the way you really want it to work,
- according to the insights you gain by looking inside (using non-religious active and mindful meditative techniques) for the emotional and body oriented aspects
- to re-encounter with your true authenticity (you know – authenticity is sexy!) and having a lot of fun – because being positive means celebrate life NOW!
How does AwarenessCoaching work?
By practising in sessions and using the provided (self-) coaching tools and techniques during the week at home, you learn, practice and integrate them into your day-to-day-life (live independently!).
Highly participatory, supportive and structured, the AwarenessCoaching Programme will provide you with:
- coaching (talk & action) to enable you to understand the importance of awareness for growth in your day-to-day life,
- the insight gained by looking inside why celebrating life is so vital,
- home / workplace assignments between the sessions,
- guided instructions into how to use the supportive tools and technique and handouts.
The programme is challenging but with (work- and private-) life-affirming changes. Participating in the AwarenessCoaching Programme requires an ongoing commitment to yourself.
